What I can say at 17 months

Molly has a pretty good vocabulary now. She's slowly starting to combine words together. The biggest milestone is "I, poopy." And guess what? She really is. The first steps in potty-training are finally here. Although, I try sitting her on the toilet and she grunts and knows what to do but doesn't. Well, it's worth a try. She can say "potty" and "pee pee" so she knows.

Here's her rundown of words:
Hi, Hello (sounds like "hewo"), Bye and Bye-Bye, Mommy, Daddy, Katie (her aunt), Me (and points to herself), Baby, Mine, Shoe, Sock (sounds like "cuk"), Jesus (sounds like "chia" or "gia"), Whoa, Elmo (sounds like "melmo"), Blue (sounds like "boo"), Bath (sounds like "ba"), Ball (sounds like "bowel"), Pee Pee, Poo Poo, Stinky, Potty, Two, Milk (sounds like "meh"), Juice (sounds like "jew"), Cheese, Down, Eat, Dog, Cat, Meow, Car, Bock Bock, Night Night, Grow (sounds like "go"), Go, Cookie (she says this one really good), Cracker (sounds like "ca ca"), Pizza (sounds like "pia"), Quack-Quack (sounds like "cak cak"), Duck and we can't forget the most famous on the list--NO!

Her two word combinations are:
I Poopy, Green Bean (sounds like "gree bee"), I Down

And she can finish the song "Old McDonald" with E-I-E-I-O!

Her favorite church songs (and I can sing along and do the actions):
"Read your Bible, Pray Everyday and you'll Grow, Grow, Grow!"
"The flowers are gently swaying..."
