I don't have any new pics of Molly yet - bad I know. But I can at least blog about something. We've been having a lot of trouble with her listening skills and how she refuses to listen. It's not just with us, it's with her gymnastics teacher, swim teacher and I'm sure her school teachers too. Some people will say it's because she's 3 but others will say it's our discipline consistency or lack thereof. I try, I really try to be consistent. I'm not the best at it - I easily get frustrated and give up which is my first problem. But even if I am trying hard to be consistent, Molly still doesn't listen. We raise our voices way too much in our house trying to get her to listen to us which I know isn't the right way to do it. We get so frustrated. We've tried time out, spanking, yelling, sending her to her room, taking things away. She sheds tears and acts like she's ready to start listening but she'll repeat the same process of not listening and getting in trouble again and again and again. It's a neverending battle. Anyway, just thought I'd share my most recent struggle with our 3 year old. But at least she is potty-trained - did I ever mention that? It happened around November or December and she's hardly had any accidents (except at night). At any rate, I love her to death and she keeps me smiling everyday.
