Why I went to college

power_ranger_mollly.jpg

Now this is why I went to college! To do wonderful photoshop tricks with my daughter's photos! Yippee! She actually was in the midst of waving when I caught this pose.

The Baby Contest

3profs_1yr.jpg

I entered Molly into "The Picture People Personality contest". The first one is the one I entered. The second photo I took but I threw in there just to show what we're up against later...the dreaded phone. The third photo is Peter's choice. I don't like the hat in that one - too floppy, wrong color of denim. But her eyes do look pretty. We had fun. But Molly just stood there and hardly had any personality! We would have used Judson except that The Picture People had to take these for the contest. I think Judson's are way better anyway. Anyway, enjoy. Wish us luck with the contest!

It's official, Molly can walk

Yesterday when I picked Molly up from Leann's, she came home and started walking down the hall by herself. I was amazed. I knew she could walk if she wanted but I didn't know that she could take more than 10 steps at a time and pull herself up from sitting to walking without holding onto anything. Molly's One Year Photos

balloon_hands.jpg

I almost forgot to post Molly's one year old photos up on her blog. Our favorite photographer, Judson, took these one crazy night. We had a blast and Molly loves cake! Hopefully it will fatten her up fast!

First Day of School

school.jpg

Molly's first day of school came too early for me. She's only one year old and already in school. Well, Sonshine school that is. It's like a Mother's Day Out program at the local church. Sonshine school meets Tuesday and Thursdays from 9:30 - 2:30. Molly's first day was last Thursday. I cried after I left her. Wimpy mom. I haven't cried since last year. I'm a tough girl. But my daughter makes me cry and I expect that she always will. I get all teary eyed thinking about the joy she brings me and every moment away from her hurts so bad. Someday, I will stay at home with my baby and be the best mom I can be.
