I was so tired this morning...

this is the way I sent my child to school. Just kidding!! It was mix&match day at Sonshine school. So I had fun. Although, Molly walked crooked with 2 different shoes, I think she enjoyed it as well. Her teachers loved her new style.

Fun at the park

park3.jpg.jpg

I wouldn't call it exactly fun but we tried to have Molly go with us on a 45 minute walk around the addition (in her stroller). That didn't work out too well. She's getting to where she can't sit still anymore...unless Dora, Blue's Clues, or Elmo is on t.v. So she yelled, kicked, hollered and cried. We finally made it to the park. That was fun until we had to leave. Then it was yell, kick, holler and cry all the way back home. So much for my exercise partner!

Another day...another ear infection

Well, not quite but close enough. Molly kept us awake all night last night crying and pointing to her ear. So I took her in to the nurse and she has cloudy fluid but not quite an ear infection yet. Molly has had a green, snotty nose and a horrible cough too so they went ahead and gave me some Omnicef antibiotic. This is the brand that gives her the worst diarrhea and the worst diaper rash known to man. We're talking almost blistering bottoms here. So I also purchased some high-dollar diaper rash cream (Dr. Smiths) so we'll see how that works. I am also supposed to give her Lactinex (?) in her food so her medicine doesn't tear up her stomach. The doc has not mentioned tubes yet so that is good. Molly really has had only one really bad full-blown ear infection - the rest have all been fluid or half ear infections so maybe that is why there has been no talk of tubes. The doc said when she's 2 1/2, she should not get sick as much.

Other than being sick all the time, Molly is fantastic! She has changed so much. Her hair is growing so fast now - I can even make pigtails. She constantly sings and I think she is trying to sing the alphabet song - at least "LMNOP." She also loves playing "Hockey" with Peter and I - which is translated to the Hokey Pokey or Ring Around the Rosies. Bubbles are her new pasttime. She loves them. Even when I blow bubbles with my gum, she gets really close to my face and watches. Anything that has bubbles are cool. Dora and Blue's Clues are her favorite t.v. shows and Elmo is her favorite DVD. Molly is also picking up other things, such as nursing her bears and dolls (she watches Chrissey feed Ashlyn) - it is very amusing. She knows where her "belbows", shoulders and back are. She loves playing outside - we have to watch her because she runs straight for the street. Molly helps take the dishes out and put them in (at least the silverware minus knives.) She is fascinated with her diaper pail and can't keep her hands out of it - gross! She loves taking showers and baths. That's all I can remember right now.
