Dog Bite

My poor baby!! Molly got bit by Peter's sister's Shitzu last Saturday night. We spent 5 hours in the ER getting 5 stitches. Here is a photo. She is doing much better and we hope there is no scarring but she'll have a good story behind it!

Happy 4th Birthday!

Molly's first day of school

We've been trying to pump the whole school thing up for a few months now so she'd get use to it. So we tell her she's growing up and going to a school with bigger kids too. On Tuesday I told Molly that she started school the next day. Her response to me was, "Mommy, did I grow up?" She looks herself up and down and says, "I'm not grown up yet (sad face). It was cute.

We woke up early this morning at 7 and took Molly to McDonald's for breakfast. Then wedrove her to school, took photos and video and then took her to her class. Her teacher had the parents stay for story time to read the story, "The Kissing Hand" (about a raccoon scared to go to school and how his mom kissed his hand to get him through the day - sweet story). Then she had each student give the parents a heart sticker in the palm of our hands as their way of saying, it's ok. I think it was more for the parents. Cute anyway. I wore mine all day and Molly made sure I had it on when I returned.

She is very ready for school - she needs the structure so when it was time for the parents to leave today, she was like "Bye mom and dad" while other kids were like leeches to their parents. Afterwards I got nothing out of her as far as what she did on the first day. She mentioned something about A's and B's and not sliding down the slide on your stomach.

On our recent trip to SeaWorld, we stopped and ate at Centerpointe Burgers in San Marcos and got a cute pic of Molly on a mini tractor.

The invisibility cloak

Yes, from Harry Potter. Even though Molly has never seen Harry Potter, you'd think she has by the way she acts most of the time. Earlier this week, she was supposed to be taking a nap (while I was napping on the couch with Oliver). I caught her sneaking out into the kitchen with a red blanket over her head. She thinks that if she can't see me, I can't see her. How clever! Even though she needed a swat on the behind for being up when she wasn't supposed to, I held out because I was laughing so hard. I wish I had a pic - priceless.

It's so funny so see what she takes pictures of. Most of the time I delete them but this time it was so funny because some of these were taken while she was sitting on the toilet. (What was I doing when she had my nice expensive camera on the john??) I didn't include one shot (you'll thank me for it) because it was of what she did in the toilet. She thought it would be cool to take a photo of her POOP! What the crap?
