(The detailed Birth story is found in the journal section - below is Peter's account of what happened...can you tell?)

Our story begins at 2am, Tuesday morning (August 20th). Kim, after much whining, finally convinces Peter to go to the hospital. Upon arrival, the nurses tell us we're staying until the baby arrives and go searching for the epidural guy. Kim starts calling her sister and mom. Peter retaliates by calling his mom. :)

Kim progresses quickly and soon Molly is unleashed on the world at 10:11 am. Here she is in the warmer, soon after birth. Even Dr. Melendez was excited to see her! She weighed 6 lbs 13 oz. and 18.5 inches long.

Soon, lots of people came to visit Molly. First off were aunt Chrissey, both of Molly's grandmas, and her two aunts, Heidi and Sarah. Eventually, even the great-grandparents showed up, but just to look. More friends and family visited including Peter's cousin Beth (Molly's 2nd cousin??) and friends from Germany Karl and Mary Drehsel. Karl and Mary brought a Steiff bear appropriately named Molly. Kim's friends Darleen and Lindsay came by for a short visit.

The Kim's coworkers came to visit. Monica and Mandy showed up first, with Judson, JC, Wes and Dan appearing later (I think they were there more to get info from Kim than to see the baby ;) ) Throughout the whole time, we tried to sleep whenever we could. We made it home 2 days later, happy but tired.
